The Streaming Giant Casts Perfect Star for Mr. 2 in One Piece Upcoming Installment
Baroque Works is geared up to play a huge role in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, though the true confrontation isn’t set to occur until the third season, and a cherished, popular member has now been chosen.
The streaming service revealed recently that Cole Escola is now part of the One Piece cast for the third season and will embody Bentham. Bon Clay has the ability to change into an exact copy of any person they’ve made contact with with their dominant hand. The actor, who is gender non-conforming and goes by they/them, will depict a rendition of that character reimagined as non-binary identifying, as opposed to as a drag performer, in the live-action series, unlike the original manga and anime.
This performer is joined by multiple recently announced actors who will portray the group to the screen, featuring head Sir Crocodile, brought to life by the seasoned performer, Sophia Anne Caruso as another operative, and an accomplished actor, who is also part of the ensemble as King Nefertari Cobra of Alabasta.
Though Bon Clay is a major member of the organization, the individual won’t appear until One Piece the third season. With the next season expected to adapt the Little Garden storyline, this signals a notable change in the schedule of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could signal additional alterations to the narrative framework.
Escola’s blend of precise humor and profound feeling makes them a perfect fit for the character. Along with their current animated role in the animated feature Boys Go to Jupiter, they earned widespread acclaim and multiple awards for penning and acting in the hit comedy play Oh Mary!, emphasizing the versatility they’ll contribute to one of One Piece’s widely praised figures.
The streaming service’s real-life One Piece series is scheduled to come back for its second season on the tenth of March, 2026.
