Jarrod Bowen Had the team's best chance in the opening period, his strike well saved by the Albanian keeper. With a teammate holding position, he had to provide width out wide but his crosses from the touchline were inconsistent. Replaced for the final quarter-hour. 6/10

Harry Kane The match-winner with his seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth goals at international level. The opener a classic opportunist's goal and his next a classy finish with his head following a clever run away from the opposition. Aged 32, he’s only getting better and England stand a real opportunity next summer when he's in the team. 8/10

Eberechi Eze Struggled to influence play out wide. Was presented with a decent opportunity when set up by Bellingham however the keeper kept it out. Rashford made much more of effect in his place. 5/10
