Laura Dern, who appeared with Diane Ladd in several movies such as Rambling Rose, referred to her as “my wonderful hero and my special gift as a mother”, stating that she was by her side when she passed.

“She was the most wonderful daughter, mother, grandmother, performer, creative along with caring individual that felt like a dream come true,” she expressed. “We were blessed to have her. She is flying with her angels now.”
