In a unexpected partnership that defies usual predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Revealed
According to the official statement, "An unusual confrontation pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous changes echo through the darkness." The narrative introduces a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine group.
The adventure focuses on "bizarre trials and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Transformations
The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a powerful scene showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Items and Extra Content
Players who successfully complete the adventure will acquire an special katana alongside several items hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
- Titan-inspired attire for Yasuke
- Mikasa outfit for Naoe

Latest Free Story Update
This update also introduces the game's latest no-cost story addition, titled "A Puzzlement."
